Olive Grove Highways Maintenance Depot - Integra Buildings Limited

This was a well structured entry with clear impact to users and the environment. The fabric first principles, airtightness, and switch to MMC were central to the reduction in carbon use. The savings were clearly stated and the building appears to perform well for the users. Each of the judging criteria were addressed specifically and directly answered.

First Hydro – Dinorwig Quarry - Portable Offices (Hire) Limited

A fascinating project overcoming the challenges of construction in a remote and potentially hazardous environment prone to rockfalls. MMC therefore offered an efficient solution compared against traditional methods, and the company managed to work around the restrictions imposed by a working site around them. The structures can be relocated and re-used, giving sustainability benefits.

Best Temporary Building Project – Public Sector (Education / Healthcare)

A 'Mini Hospital', open within 10 weeks - Vanguard Healthcare Solutions

An absolutely brilliant award entry! To build a mini hospital in just 10 weeks is a fantastic performance. Vanguard clearly rose to the challenge. Brilliant feedback from the client to evidence success. A great example of when MMC comes into its own to solve a major customer crisis. And buildings don't get more complex than hospitals with all the additional services to accommodate.I don't think i've ever seen so much positive feedback on a single project - including from clinicians who can be very sceptical about interim building solutions. That is very powerful and impressive.

Investment in dedicated bespoke software helps to achieve this, showing the company's commitment to technical advances, and the site includes excellent training facilities.

St Philip’s School - Wernick Buildings

I applaud Wernick for being able to deliver such a high quality building in a short space of time on a very difficult site. With mature trees and existing buildings extremely close to the new build, it is clearly evident that a great deal of care and collaboration has gone into making this new SEND facility for St. Philips School.
